First post!!

Hello gals and non-gals! This is my first time blogging at all, and I hope y'all like it.

I'm just gonna briefly introduce myself. My name is Mai, and I've been a gyaru for two years. It might not be a lot to some, but I've been dedicated to it. I like doing my makeup and dressing up, writing, drawing, going out, music, and lots of things. I decided to start this blog just for fun, so I might not post that frequently. I will try to be a bit consistent, though.

Gyaru (ギャル), first of all, is a fashion and lifestyle movement that became popular around the 90s and 2000s. It's centered on rebelling against Japanese beauty standards. Gyarus tend to be loud, outgoing, confident, and unbothered by hate comments. Its key points are makeup, hair, and attitude, in my opinion. It's a good way to express yourself and get a boost of confidence. There are different kinds of substyles, and you can try out as many as you want as you find your personal style.

The most popular ones are:

- Tsuyome.

- Yamanba/Manba

- Agejo

- Amekaji

- Hime gyaru

- Himekaji

+ more !!

It takes a bit of effort to doll yourself up as a gal before going out, but I find it gratifying to see how I'm developing my personal style. I'm sure other people feel the same.

In another note, anyone can try out gyaru. It's just important to keep it age-appropriate and have fun with it. Also, research is important as well.:))

I can answer any questions if y'all have any. Thank you for reading my blog :pp
